Casa do Gadanha was born from Michele Marques' dream to create a guesthouse imbued with the same love and dedication with which she runs her renowned restaurant in Estremoz, Mercearia Gadanha. During the renovation, there was a preoccupation with preserving as many original aspects of the building as possible. These elements include Art Deco doors and colourful tiles, marble basins, iron grilles, ceramic pine cones, and even a section of wooden flooring in a star pattern.
