Casa da Oliveira is a gorgeous three-bedroom holiday home in a small rural village on Portugal’s southwest coast, moments from stunning wild beaches.
We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at Vermelho. Highlights included the array of Portuguese and French pastries that were brought to your table and the perfectly cooked a-la-carte eggs. Breakfast was delicious but also beautifully arranged, featuring tableware from Vida Dura.
Elisabeth Lincot's installation, Lagrima de Loros, graces an exterior hearth at Vermelho with glazed and colourful ceramic bird heads.
Casa da Oliveira - Monte Branco is a whitewashed traditional home that has been meticulously restored by its owner, an interior architect.
Located in rural Aljezur, in the western Algarve, the house showcases a harmonious blend of natural materials, such as solid wood and cosy wool rugs, which pay homage to the traditional charm of both the building and the Portuguese village it resides in.
