The brainchild of João and Catarina Reis, this hotel is exclusively for adults aged 14 years and above. It is a tranquil retreat that blends traditional Azorean architecture with modern design.

The property offers nine suites and two exclusive villas with private pools. All accommodations are furnished with sleek and contemporary decor, fully equipped kitchenettes, and horizon views (except the villa La Maison).

Outside, the communal heated saltwater pool and extensive outdoor spaces provide ample spots for relaxation and unwinding. The Cardume restaurant serves cuisine with the freshest ingredients sourced locally from trusted producers.

We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at Vermelho. Highlights included the array of Portuguese and French pastries that were brought to your table and the perfectly cooked a-la-carte eggs. Breakfast was delicious but also beautifully arranged, featuring tableware from Vida Dura.
